Fishing a crankbait for bass can be a lot of fun and can definitely get you a ton of bites! It's important to know how to properly use a crankbait. One common mistake we see a lot of anglers making is that they aren't making the crankbait hit cover. I almost never get a bite when I'm not hitting cover. Much like pulling something away from a cat, the bass can't resist a strike when they see the bait bump off of the structure and run away.
