"Hey I love the show. There is a lake in Morris IL that's supposed to be loaded with many different types of fish, called Heidecke Lake in Grundy county. Me and my friends go there and we have no luck because we don't know how to fish from shore there. We try everything and no luck. Any suggestions?"

The move- driven by the need to be closer to my fiancé- isn't the usual relocation you would expect from an aspiring professional bass fisherman, as most, given a choice, would choose to remain in the South- the undisputed epicenter of professional bass fishing.

Not all fisheries are created equal.  Just like all golf courses pose unique challenges to golfers, and all mountains have a different set of obstacles for skiers, the various types of fisheries throughout the country need to be approached according to their qualities, and how bass relate to those characteristics.
